This collection consists of correspondence, much of which was duplicated from various other files concerning Admiral Raymond Spruance. It includes Spruance's correspondence with Rear Admiral Carl J. Moore, comments on various histories submitted for his review, materials related to Emmet P. Forrestel's 1966 biography of Spruance, an interview appearing in a 1965 issue of Paris Match, and related documentation.
